Elicit is optimized and intended for English-language searches and results. We currently use the Semantic Scholar dataset as our primary source for papers, which is mostly focused on English-language papers.

While we don't have official support for non-English languages, you can attempt queries in other languages, as Elicit may successfully return results for papers written in those languages. You can also try filtering abstracts containing specific key words in your language of choice for more accurate results. Note however that quality of results in non-English languages will vary widely and is not something our team is currently optimizing for.
