Improve column results

  1. Use full-text papers. When Elicit has access to the PDF of the paper, Elicit can search for information from the entire paper. If Elicit does not have access to the PDF for the paper, Elicit can only pull information from the abstract. If the information you're looking for is not in the abstract, we may not be able to extract it for you. Elicit typically has access to open-access papers.

    In the Find Papers or Systematic Review workflow, you can filter to papers that have PDFs using the "Has PDF" toggle:

    You can also use Elicit's browser extension to help pull in more full text papers from any institutional database access you may have.

    You can also upload your own PDFs or import PDFs from your Zotero collections. In that case, Elicit can use information from the full text of the paper.
