To share a session with your colleagues, open the session and click the "Share" button at the top right.
Who you can share with
Specific people. Enter an email address and click the Add button. Remove someone by clicking the trash can icon next to their email address in the access list.
Your whole team. On Scale and Enterprise plans, share with everyone on your team at once instead of naming them individually.
Anyone with the link. Toggle on "Anyone with the link can view", then click "Copy link". This works for people without an Elicit account, and is view-only. Switch the toggle off at any time to stop sharing.
Shared sessions can be read by others but cannot be edited, unless you are on a Scale or Enterprise plan and are sharing with a member of that team. If you are on a Scale or Enterprise team and want to work in a session together, see Collaborate in a shared Research Agent session and Shared Projects.
Finding what has been shared with you
Sessions and projects that someone shares with you show up on your Recents page under the "Shared with you" tab.
A green dot on Recents in the left sidebar means something new has been shared with you.
Open Recents to see what it is. New items carry their own dot so you can pick them out of the list.
An item's dot stays until you open that item, not just until you look at the list, so nothing gets lost because you glanced at Recents while busy.
Once you open a shared session it stays in your Recents. A shared project appears in your Recent Projects.
Each shared item carries an icon showing how it was shared with you, so you can tell a session shared with you personally from one shared with your whole team.
Note: Only sessions, including Research Reports, Systematic Reviews, and Agent sessions can be shared at this time. Tools, such as Find Papers, Extract Data, and Paper Chat, cannot be shared.
